Spermatocele:

A spermatocele is a benign, non-cancerous, cyst-like collection of sperm fluid lying within the scrotum, closely attached to the testicle.  Spermatoceles do not require treatment unless they produce pain or unless they enlarge to such a degree as to cause discomfort from the sheer size of the scrotal bulge.  Some and desire treatment simply for cosmetic reasons.  If treatment is required, complete surgical removal of the entire cyst should be performed.  Simple needle drainage will not suffice.  Surgery is nearly always successful but spermatoceles return in some cases.
